How Microsoft has affected my life and how I plan to bring a change to the society being a MSA

If I seek to find a person who is using a computer and hasn’t heard about Microsoft then I am surely going to fail. Since the day I started using computer, the use of Microsoft software applications is so ubiquitous that at some point I might have confused Microsoft to be a synonym for PC. 

If I ever found any PC accessible in my childhood then I always ended up using Paint. Not to forget the games like Solitaire, Hearts, and Minesweeper which still seem quite fun. Undoubtedly Microsoft provides the best series of graphical interface operating systems. Microsoft is not just imperative for personal computers, it has also developed windows phone whose market share is continuously increasing . The customizable home screen which lets you bring individual contacts to your home screen and you not only get the usual profile but also a personalized screen of your communication history with that person, including calls,texts and e-mails. Windows phone allow to store, access and edit work documents with much ease making Nokia and windows phone 8 a compelling combination.

Every program that you will find in Microsoft office excels in speed, reliability, and usability. Microsoft Office is the industry standard when it comes to desktop publishing. Whenever a document is required, it is always required in the Microsoft Word. You could employ Microsoft Publisher to help create a business brochure, or you could use MS Excel for your client database. This software suite has everything you need for running your business. After making an account on Outlook, I realized it is very easy to use and seems like the best choice for the corporate e-mail client. This show the dependency we have on Microsoft today for any corporate work.

Coming to the entertainment side, gaming console from Microsoft- Xbox one is the more reliable multiplayer service in the last generation which doesn’t even need internet access whenever you wish to play a game.Games provided by Microsoft are played and praised widely like ageof empires, age of mythology, freelancer and dead rising 3.It’s unlikely for a gamer to not own an Xbox console.

Needless to say, the services provided by Microsoft are unparalleled. Working with Microsoft is definitely a great opportunity which would provide me immense exposure.

 As a Microsoft Student Associate, I would like to take initiatives that will help me reach out to people who are still deprived of the basic knowledge about computers so as to increase their employability and thereby making them financially more strong. I wish to bring social changes and harness my leadership skills at the same time. I have always involved myself in various technical and social events in college. I have done creative work, PR work, marketing work and still maintained a good academic record and thus I consider myself worthy of this opportunity which will further add value to myself.
